Real Madrid want Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku to replace Christiano Ronaldo

Romelu Lukaku is wanted by Real Madrid if Cristiano Ronaldo ends up moving to Manchester United this summer.

The Portuguese plunged his future into doubt with his comments following the Champions League final against Liverpool.

Ronaldo referred to his current club in the past tense alerting the likes of United to his availability.

And now Spanish outlet Diario Gol say Real Madrid bigwig Florentino Perez will demand Lukaku in a swap deal.

The Belgian impressed in his first season at Old Trafford, scoring 27 goals in all competitions.

New Real boss Julen Lopetegui is said to be a big fan of the United striker.
