MINIMUM WAGE : BUHARI's GROUP URGES NLC TO SHELVE PLANNED STRIKES

The Buhari Media Organisation (BMO) has appealed to the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and its affiliates to shelve its planned nationwide indefinite strike. In a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday in Abuja, the organizations urged the congress members to bend their position and reach an amicable solution with the government on the minimum wage negotiations. The statement was jointly signed by BMO’s Chairman Niyi Akinsiju and Secretary Cassidy Madueke.
